I absolutely loved this wedding for Gemma & Jason, the sun shone and this wonderful couple were such great fun to be with, they were married at the lovely Priston Mill just outside the city of Bath.

Ive photographed many weddings at this location, its really great when I return to this venue because not only has it got some wonderful grounds for my wedding photography it brings back memories, because when I was about 9 years of age, believe it or not this place was still a working mill and producing bread lol, no I’m really not that old but its funny how life turns out.

Priston Mill near Bath and Bristol, the ancient Watermill and Tythe Barn makes for the perfect location for your wedding receptions and/or ceremony.

It has two venues that have retained their historic character and yet are furnished in a comfortable contemporary style for couples getting married and their guests to enjoy.

Anyway back to the wedding, Gemma & Jason were obviously so in love and full of fun, ever time I went to take a photo of the two of them, they both started laughing, it was fantastic because it enabled me t capture some fantastic photos of them, natural and true, which I love as this is my preferred style of photography, I naturally look at the finer details when I’m taking the Elegant romantic shots but for the reportage photos, there really isn’t anything better than capturing the personalities of the wedding couple and Gemma and Jason didn’t disappoint!

The guests were outside enjoying the incredibly warm weather for this time of year, believe it or not it was 16 Celsius, now thats warm for an early wedding.

The speeches were quite short, Gemma and Jason had requested this, so the evening fun could begin, about 70 more guests arrived for the evening reception, the Dj played well into the night, I photographed their first dance and then said my goodbyes, fabulous wedding, fabulous venue, wonderful wedding day. – wedding tips and advice
