Tracy is brilliant at spotting the tiny details and capturing fabulous images; little detailed shots that can sometimes be very inconspicuous to most, I love looking for natural light that produces incredible imagery and to bring out the smooth look of the guys. I have always been moved by beautiful images, I believe that capturing a millisecond of life with a camera demands a connection between the photographer and the subject.
I love working with natural light, keeping the true ambiance of the scene, over use of flash alters the look and feel of the image, if there are soft light’s, candle lit rooms, then I love to capture this within the photograph where possible.
"Recording a wedding is more than taking images; it's having the ability to really understand and sense the life emotion and feelings, then to capture this artistically without impacting on anyone involved" - Michael Gane (thefxworks)
Photographing people is not about photography by numbers, it’s not about the photographer’s format or his style or even the amount of images to be taken, it’s about you and your Fiancé, it’s about your personality, your love, your style, this is why thefxworks images look fantastic.
We have been capturing weddings with the art of film and photography throughout the UK and abroad for 18 years, recording the exuberant celebrity wedding through to the quaint family wedding in quiet little villages.
Working in a genuinely unobtrusive way to capture perfect images, my unique and stylish approach will provide you with a wedding Photos and Video of the highest quality.
Anyone can pick up a camera, but to fashion a piece of art involves far more than merely shooting and filming. I fully believe that the art of capturing an image is an emotional experience requiring the inner capacity to imprint ones feelings through the lens onto the sensor and thus bringing the image to life.
This is what turns a picture from being a “snapshot” into an image that impacts on your emotions.
Capturing the perfect exposure is paramount in producing beautiful photographs, with today’s technology, the thought process is; take the picture and then enhance this through software. However I am a firm believer in capturing the perfect exposure first and foremost. Only then, can you enhance the image through post-processing, making those minor adjustments to produce a photograph that makes the viewer say “Wow”!
